5. Sandwood Bay

Details: Starting at Blairmore you begin the walk on the track signpost to Sandwood. At Sandwood bay you have a mile of deserted sands to explore, with views of Am Buachaille (a single rock stack) in the distance. The path is vague around the shores of Sandwood Loch, but the way ahead is straightforward. The last couple of miles can be boggy through the peat.
